DECSC is a charity which supports a number of different sports clubs in the east of Dundee. Their main facility is at Whitton Park, near to Claypotts junction in Broughty Ferry and has a small clubhouse and changing facilities alongside a full-size grass football pitch.

Planning has been approved to replace these facilities with a 3G pitch, surrounded by covered terraces for spectators, new changing facilities, a hospitality lounge and several community spaces.

We designed a new L-shaped building to be positioned in the south-west corner of the site, which will provide shelter to the pitch and links their existing 3G pitch to the west with the new facilities.

This development will significantly enhance  the opportunities currently available from DECSC and will not only improve what they currently do, but inspire greater outreach into the communities in the future.
